Patricia has been at the helm of DHR Communications’ dynamic and diverse team since 2020. 

She is a trusted advisor to senior leaders in public sector organisations, offering perspective and pragmatic advice on issue and crisis management and communications. 

With two decades of public sector experience in Ireland and the EU, she understands how to navigate the system and the best approaches to deliver results. 

Patricia provides hands-on support for DHR clients, identifying public relations and public affairs opportunities to enhance their reputation and achieve their goals. She enjoys working with, supporting, and learning from internal communications teams. 

Prior to joining DHR, Patricia was:

• Special Advisor to the President of the European Parliament, and 12 years’ experience as a senior policy and communications advisor in Government, as:
• Special Advisor to the Minister for Health and Children 2004-2011,
• Advisor to the Minister of State in the Department of Health with responsibility for disabilities, primary care, social care, and mental health 2015-2016, and,
• Special Advisor to the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs 2016-2020.

Patricia holds a B.A in European Studies (Public Affairs) from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Public Relations (PRII). 

Sinéad Duggan is the Operations Director at DHR Communications.  

Sinéad manages the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Her work involves management of HR administration within DHR; dealing with all client contracts; and providing full administrative support across the DHR team, helping to ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.  

She has more than 20 years’ professional experience in administration, and a background in quality control and customer service.

Sinéad holds a BA in English and Geography from University College Dublin, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School (DBS), and a Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management from Griffith College Dublin.

Olwyn Enright is a Director at DHR Communications.  

Olwyn is centrally involved in the planning and implementation of communications and public affairs strategies for clients, providing strategic advice and analysis to senior teams, CEOs and Boards.  

She has advised Irish and international firms and organisations in both the public and private sector, as well as membership organisations and trusts.  

With a background in politics, Olwyn has a strong interest in public affairs and advises clients on engagement across their stakeholder landscape. This includes developing compelling content, speeches, and presentations, preparing clients for meetings and public appearances, including at Oireachtas committees and advising on their relationships and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Olwyn holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from UCD and qualified as a solicitor. She holds a Diploma in Community Development Practice from University of Galway and is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.  
 

Karen has two decades’ experience advising leading public and private sector organisations on a diverse range of communications needs. Her experience spans communications strategy development, media relations and issues management, public information campaigns, bespoke research projects and crisis scenario planning. 

She has more than a decade’s experience and a particular interest in public consultation strategies and communications programmes to support public engagement with future development plans, specifically for large-scale Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) projects. 

Karen has worked with organisations to profile a variety of cultural, community, arts and heritage initiatives, showcasing the value of investment and strategic partnerships in this space. 

She has also overseen the design and delivery of award-winning communications campaigns, and her work with client and agency teams has been recognised by the PRCA Awards, Digital Media Awards and Spider Awards in recent years. 

She holds a first class honours Bachelor of Laws and German (LL.B. Ling. Germ.) from Trinity College, Dublin. Karen is a member of the PRII. 

Ceri Teggin is a Project Manager at DHR Communications.

Ceri primarily works on communications strategy development projects, stakeholder engagement and messaging for clients in DHR; with a special focus on research and analysis. She has extensive experience in managing stakeholder communication projects, public consultations, and policy research. She has been responsible for the project management of public consultations for various public bodies.

She has more than 15 years’ professional experience in communications, including public relations, public affairs, and print journalism.  

Ceri holds a BA in Journalism from DIT and an IMPA Certified Diploma in Project Management.

Marit de Leve is an Account Manager at DHR Communications.  

Marit supports the senior consultancy team across all areas of service delivery. She works closely with clients to assist and advise on media relations, event planning and management, digital and social media strategy and content creation, media and public affairs monitoring, and communications strategy development and implementation.  

Marit has experience in customer and client facing industries, as well as a background in developing creative content. Marit’s academic studies have had a strong orientation towards research, shaped by her interest in Irish culture, history and arts.

Marit is fluent in English and Dutch, with a great enthusiasm for language and communicating to a diversity of audiences using an array of platforms, on and offline.

Marit holds a first-class M.Phil. degree in Irish Writing from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Culture from the University of Amsterdam. 

Devika Baburaj is an Account Executive at DHR Communications, where she supports the senior team in delivering public relations and communications project across various sectors. 

In her role with DHR, she supports the team in public affairs service delivery and provides assistance with media engagement, background research, content development and event coordination. 

With an MA in Public Relations and Strategic Communication from TU Dublin and an Honors degree in Mass Communications from Oklahoma City University, Devika brings a strong foundation in research, writing and communications.
